Tall Faceted Gift Box

A couple of weeks ago I made a small Faceted Box  with my craft group they love it and asked if they could make a taller one so this is what I came up with You can find the original  Faceted Gift Box Here

You will need a 12″x12″ sheet of cardstock 10 1/4″ x 10 1/4″

Score at 2 1/2″, 5″, 7 1/2″ and 10″ turn and

Score at 2 1/2″, 3 3/4″, 5″, 6 1/4″ 7 1/2″, and 10″

Score the diagonal score lines as in the picture at the bottom of this post.

Cut your card stock to look like the picutre below also see picture at the bottom of the post.

I add a background with a small background stamp .

Stamp in versamark and clear embossing podwer.

Fold and burnish all score lines.

Add tape to the side seam.

Add tape to the bottom of your box

Gently push in the corner.

First Frost

Hope everyone is having a great Saturday, for a 1st time this Autumn it feels like Autumn here in the north-east its a lot colder here but it’s still nice and sunny.

Todays card i have used the First Frost Bundle this set is just so lovely perfect for this time of year.

I made the background by stamping the leaf stamp with versamark ink and heat embossing it in white then went over that with a foam roller in  Soft sea foam ink.

I used Soft sea foam, Crumb cake and Highland Heather for the flowers I also die cut some vellume leaves I add wink of stella to the vellum and the Roses.

Christmas Snow Globe

Small Christmas Treat Box

I love this gift box alway’s looks classy but is very easy to make I have made this one to hang on the tree you can put a small gift or sweets in it.

This box can be made it different sizes I have made them with 4″x4″, 6″x6″, 7″x7″ and  8″x8″and had fantastic results with all 4 sizes.I made todays box with 4″x4″ DSP.

To make in other size is the same as this one just remember to punch and score in the middle of your card stock so 6″ is scored at 3″ .7″ is scored at 3 1/2″ and so on .

1.Cut a sheet of DSP down to 4″ x 4″ you need 2 per box.

2. you will need to score and punch at 2″ on all sides.

4. score both sheets of DSP at 3/4″ on all 4 sides.

5. On 1 square cut out the 2 small squares and trim of the flaps on one side and add tape.

On the other square cut out 3 small squares and trim across the 4th.

Then tape together as in the photo below.

Punch a hole in the lid and add a ribbon.

Beautiful Blizzard

I love die sets you can you use both the positive and negative parts  so this set is perfect for me.

Star Box

I love this star box it so quick and easy to make but looks a bit different.

You will need a 12×12 sheet of DSP  you can make 2 from 1 sheet..Cu the DSP down to 10 1/2″ x 6″.

Place your 10 1/2″ side in to your Gift bag punch board if using DSP with a right and wrong way up as with the bows make sure you but the DSP in so the bottom of the design is facing away from you.

Punch score just the side of the bag you will need to do this 5 times.

Take your DSP out and turn your board round so the hole punch is facing you ,turn your DSP round and place it in the hole punch and line up the middle score line and puch a long your bag top.

Wedge small flap as in photo.  fold and burnish your score line the line with the triangle at the bottom at mountain fold as are the triangles, the other lines are valleys, Then add tape to the side flap and stick your box together.

Fold in your base and cut 2 2 1/4″ circles

Stick one on the outside and one on the inside.

Animal Outing Writing Set

Are you all enjoying the weekend I am having a lovely time as my granddaughter is up for a few day as its half term love spending time with her and my daughter as I don’t get to see them that often as they live in london.

I have been working on Writing set this week for my monthly workshop Hopefully they will have fun making it.

Cut 1. 8″ x 8 1/4″  score on the 8″ side at 1/2″ and 1 1/2″

1. 
2. Cut 2. 6 1/2″ x 8 1/4″ in cardstock and 1 in a thick card / cereal box
3. Stick one of the cardstock peices and thicker peices together .
4. Add tape to the 8″ x 8 1/4″ on the 1/2″ score line then stick this to the thick card.
5. Stick the piece cardstock 6 1/2″ x 8 1/4″ to the thick card
6. 
7. Next make the pocket cut a piece of cardstock 8″ x 4 1/2″  score the 8″ side  at 1/2″ , 1″ , 7″ and 71/2″
8. 
9. score the 4 1/2″ side at 1/2″ and 1″
10. 
11. Fold and   burnish the score lines cut away the 2 small squares on both sides and snip down and wedge the 2 small squares and add tape.
12. 
13. you will need 4 piece of DSP cut to  6″ x 8″ ,round the corners
14. 5.7/8″ x 3 1/4″ round the corners
15. 1″ x  5 1/2″
16. 1/2″ x 4″
17. 
18. Add tape to the back of the pocket.
19. 
20. Stick the DSP on the front.
21. 
22. Cut a piece of cardstock 5 7/8″ x 4″ score the 4″ side at 1 1/4″ and 1 3/4″
23. 
24. Stick the 1″ x 5 1/2″ DSP on cardstock
25. 
26. Cut the front of the pad leaving about 1/2″ and add tape, stick cardstock to it.
27. 
28. Add tape to the back of the cardstock and stick down.
29. 
30. Cut piece of cardstock down to 1′”x 4″ stick the DSP 1/2″ x 4″ together wrap it round your pen and tape together.
31. 
32. Stick the pen holder to your base and then stick the pad on top of that.
33. 
34. Stick the pocket in make sure you line it up with the score line.
35. 
36. Cut a piece of ribbon about 30″ and wrap it round your cover place tape under the front piece just to hold it place then stick the DSP over it.
37. 
38. Stamp some cute images on the envelopes.
39. 
40. Add a die cut and image to the front.

Christmas Box No Cutting Or Glue

Morning all I have made this cute Little Christmas Box to hold 3 bottles of essential oils but you could fit lots of other small items. the box is 3 1/4″ h , 3″w and 1 1/2″ d.

You will need a sheet of cardstock cut down to 5 1/2″ x  9″ 

I used poppy parade cardstock and ink.

I 1st stamped the card all over with the small background stamp from the Candy cane Season stamp set.

Score the 5 1/2″ side at 1 1/2″ and 4 1/2″.

Turn and score the 9″ side at 1 1/2″ ,5 3/8′ and 6 7/8″ then add score line as in the template at the bottom of the post.Then fold and burnish all the score lines. fold the  2 side score lines to the middle fold the triangle out as in photo do both sides.

Fold over the top.

Tape the ribbon on the inside of the front of your box and then wrap it round and tie in a bow.

Stamp and punch out the candy cane and add to the front.
