It’s the Little Things Pottles Design Team Week 5

Can’t believe its the end of November all ready I have loved been on the design team hope December’s team enjoy it s much as I have,so here is my last project its a cute little gift card holder.You will need card stock cut down to 10″ x 4 1/4″.

Which is scored at 3″- 4″- 5″ and 8″Add a stripe of tape and stick together 

I used the label

 

 

punch to make the opening for the gift card.You will need some DSP to decorate cut 4 rectangles to 2 3/4″ x 4″ and 2 rectangles 1 3/4″ x 4″

to make the belly band you will need a piece of card stock cut to 7″x 1″ which is scored at 2″ and 5″.

I made the embellishment with a stamp from the little things stamp set which I heat embossed in gold and stamped Merry Christmas in real red the stamp is from the merry patterns stamp set.

Its the Little things Pottles design team week 4

How is everyone this week? Today i have a couple of cute boxes to show you,I have made them with the stampin up envelope punch board i am loving this tool at the moment so many great christmas boxes can be made with it, i have made the larger one with a piece of 8″x 8″ DSP and the smaller one with a pieces of 6″ x 6″

  1. cut a 12×12 DSP down to 8″x8″ 2. Punch and score at 2″3. Then move the paper along and score at 5″ more the paper round lining up the punch and score line on all 4 sides4.round the 4 corners5.cut into the paper at the large corn ends.6. Fold all the score lines.7.But tape on 2 of the triangle fold the triangles in and stick down8.next place tape on the 2 smaller corner and tape them to the larger   9.cut a stripe of cardstock 1′ wide 10″long score at 1 1\2″  4″ 6″ and 8 1\2″ wrap round your box and stick with tape.10. To make the embellishment I masked of the wording in the middle of the stamp and then stamped it in real Red ink remembering to take the mask of before stamping it on to some white card stock.11. I then added a stamped messages in old olive ,then punched it out with the 2′ circle punch and distressed the edge with the old olive ink before sticking it on the red band.The smaller box is made the same up scored at 1 1\2″ and 4″

The Little Things Pootles Design Team week 3

Good morning everyone hope you are all keeping nice and warm its been cold here in the North East but nice and bright.

I can’t believe we are over half way through November all ready soon be thinking of butting the tree up.

This week project is a treat bag get for your home made treats.

Christmas workshops

Christmas gift box and gift bag workshops
Workshops are £25.00 each or £46.00 if you book both.
The box workshop is on Tuesday 28th November at 2pm or 7pm and will last approximately 2 hour.the workshops will be held in Great Lumley Durham

I will provide everything you need to and a stack of 5 boxes, 4 flavour boxes and a small box you will get to keep the punch board .
The Gift Bag workshop is on Friday 1st December at 2 pm or 7 pm, you will get to make 3 gift bags and a box,the price also includes the punch board. If you would like to book please message me there are 6 places for each class.
