Piece of cake

I have had this set a while but have not played with it until today but think it will be one of my favourite sets there is so much you can do with it.

Cut 1. 5 1/2′ square  and a 3″ x 6″of Grapefruit Grove card stock.

score the 3″ x 6″ at 1″ on the shortside and then stick it in the middle of square to make your card.

next cut a 5 3/8″square of Gingham gala DSP and stick it over the 5 1/2′ square then and a 2 3/4″ x 5 3/8″ whisper white panel on the front and on the inside. I stamped lifespan’s too shoer to say no to cake stamp from the Amazing life stamp set on the inside panel.on the front panel I stamped  happy birthday and  candle, on a scrap of whisper white card stock I stamped  the cake and cake stand then  colour them in with blends I punched them out I added them to the card with Dimensionals.

Spring roses

It’s spring so it must be wedding seasons I think climbing rose is perfect for a wedding card or a birthday, have teamed it up with petal pink, which is a very pretty peach colour. I choose to colour the stamped image with the watercolour pencil to give it a soft look,

Pretty in Pink

Hope you are having a great Sunday this is one of the cards we made at my workshop yesterday the theme of this month workshop was flowers / Spring I used 1st frost and All that you are stamp sets. I went for one of my favourite colour combos blushing bride and crumb cake and a little granny apple green to make it pop.

Painted Butterflies

I have cased this card from Pinterest  I love to get my inks out to make the butterflies 1st cut 3 small squares of white card then took my ink brushes and brushed the 1st card with Pineapple Punch and Mango Melody. the 2nd square is Melon Mambo and So Saffron the last square is Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight I then flicked water over the squares and then pated them dry and then punched out the butterflies and added a sentiment and a few gems to the card.

Pretty floral birthday card

Hope everyone had a good Easter I spent a lovely couple of days enjoy the sun shine

Todays card i have used the First Frost Bundle this set is just so lovely perfect for this time of year, I am so please it is staying with us for another year.

I made the background by stamping the leaf stamp with versamark ink and heat embossing it in white then went over that with a foam roller in  Soft sea foam ink.

I used Soft sea foam, Crumb cake and Highland Heather for the flowers I also die cut some vellume leaves I add wink of stella to the vellum and the Roses.

The Clearance Rack has been up date pop over and take a look lots of fantastic bargains to be had but they want hang around long.

Nine Lives

This is a fun set that would suit lots of different occasions for the young or old,I have kept this card very simple and clean lots of white space.i love the little mouse stamp so sweet.
