So over the weekend I went through all my stamps set and taking all my retired stamps out and deciding which ones I will keep and which ones will be going and Painted Harvest pop out at me I had forgot all about this fabulous set I have not used it in a very long time so today I had a play with it and here is what i came up with.

Hope you are all enjoying the bank holiday weekend,I have been in the garden and my craft room, have been playing with some fantastic new sets from stampin up which will be coming your way in June you are all going to love the new catalogue if you don’t have one please let me know and I will post one out to you.But today I have the fabulous Tropical Chic set to show you this is a lovely set of stamps with matching dies it is still available as a bundle for a couple more weeks so if you would like to save 10% now the time to buy.
Todays card is a nice quick card I used gold embossing powder before I added Bermuda Bay ink I used a soft brush to add the colour then I flicked water on it and dapped it dry with a paper towel.before adding the sentiment which i heat embossed on to black card stock.

Sneaky peek Sunday todays project is this fun Envelope Flip book, i spent a lovely afternoon making this using the stunning new Bird Ballad Suite, I love everything about this Suite the DSP is just beautiful the colour palette is so soft and has a lovely vintage feel to it, which complements the stamp set perfectly, the Suite also has a beautiful lace ribbon and metal embellishments.
To make this project you will need 4 sheets of DSP cut to 9 1/2″ x 9 1/2″ or 4 7 x5″ envelopes.
use the envelope punchboard to make your envelopes score and punch at 4″ following your punch board instructions .
cut a pieces of DSP to 11″ x 7 1/4″ score every 1/2″
Add tape to the 5,6,9,10,13,14,17,and 18th line as in photo.
Chip board is cut to 5 1/4″ x 7 1/2″
DSP cover is 6″ x 8 1/2″
Cover liner is 5 x 7 1/4″
Spine cover is 4 x 7 1/2″
Post cards
Basecard is 7 x 5″
Whisper white 6 3/4″ x 4 3/4

Have gone for a lass is more card today I have used the love you to pieces bundle which is great fun I have just used the jig saw piece and the one piece at a time sentiment,I used whisper white card stock and ink for my piece but you could used coloured card stock.

I have only just got this set even though it has been out a year ,but it is carrying over in to the new catalogue so i thought I would get it while it was still a bundle and save the 10% I am so pleased I did it is a lovely set to work with.I saw a card made with these colour and love it so here is my take on this colour combo I am so pleased with it they just work so well together, I have used night of navy, crumb cake and Sahara sands.

So exited for the 1st time I have a paper pumpkin set to share with yours well as a little peek and some new DSP coming in the new catalogue which is so pretty. But 1st What is Paper Pumpkin ? If you have not heard of it before it is a monthly kit that is delivered to your door but it is only available in the US, But this time we can all het our hands on a kit.
